Tellus has built its reputation for providing high quality vocational training thanks to the support of more than 500 partners in six European countries.

We could not deliver our award winning programmes without them and equally, we cannot thank them enough for the extent of knowledge, expertise and experience they have passed on to our participants, helping them to realise their own aspirations and career potential.

We are always looking for more work placement providers who can help support young people in this way, helping them to learn new skills, as well as broadening their cultural experiences.

What’s more, thanks to EU grants, there is no financial cost to the employer.

But it’s not just about the benefits to our participants – work placements can also have a real benefit to the employer in terms of improved productivity and increasing staff morale through mentoring opportunities.

Sometimes they can also result in professional and personal links that may last a lifetime.

  • Placements are carefully selected for the participants taking into account their preferences, skills and level of experience.
  • Our Work Placement Team informs the participants before they start working how to get to the work placement and explain if there are any specific requirements regarding their tasks.
  • They also monitor participants’ progress by visiting them in their respective companies and by staying in touch with both participants and placement providers.
